13-16 September 2022 – Ghent, Belgium

We organized a hybrid international networking event at Ghent University (Hospital), Belgium in September 2022. We brought together affected individuals and their caregivers, physicians, paramedics, and researchers. A clinic day (Sept 14, 2022) allowed participation in research on disease mechanisms and clinical research. A conference day (Sept 15, 2022) provided a state-of-the-art on CL entities and interaction between stakeholders. A research day (Sept 16, 2022) gathered all stakeholders to coordinate and plan further research efforts. We expected this conference to provide a global patient-centered approach to advance awareness, care, and research in CL. More information can be found here.
