Karolien Aelbecht

Karolien Aelbrecht is a clinical psychologist and psychotherapist by training. In 2020, she finished her PhD in Life Sciences on “Communication through the eyes of the patient: the role of ethnicity, language and education”. At the moment she works as a project manager and genetic counselor for, among others, the Callewaert lab at the Ghent University Hospital. She is also affiliated as a postdoctoral researcher at the department of Biomolecular Medicine of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences of Ghent University.
